Friday Cuppa & Conversation - 1st Friday of every month

The Friday morning teas are held in the meeting room at the Shoreham Rural Fire Brigade Station, Byrnes Road and are a chance for residents to meet socially and discuss issues that may concern them.
Come along on the 1st Friday of the month between 10.30- 11.30am and bring a simple morning tea plate to share. Tea and coffee are provided

Community Dinners

Community dinners are held at least four times a year on a Friday evening in the Old School Hall in Byrnes Road. They are a lovely social event and a good place to meet up with old friends or make new ones. Everyone is welcome. This is very much a family affair, especially in the summer when the kids can play outside on the common. Bring along your favourite meal or desert to share – each dinner has a theme and the food is always fabulous! Don’t forget the wine (or other drink of choice) and bring glasses, plates and cutlery. Friday Tennis

Join others who enjoy a few sets of tennis on Friday mornings from 8.30 - 9.30 am at the Shoreham Tennis Courts. Although it has been a group of women playing to date, men are also very welcome. For anyone interested please contact Ann on 5989 8818 or Jean 5989 8252.


Open Path Meditation

Regular meditation sessions, workshops and retreats are held from the Open Path teaching space at 21 Marine Parade, Shoreham.

Tai Chi 

We meet on Thursday morning in the Shoreham Old School Hall (note: from March 2017 to May 2017 we will meet at the CFA building).  Experienced people practice at 9am and newcomers learn at 10.15am. Coffee and chat links the two sessions. 
We do Tai Chi to relax, to have good posture, to strengthen our legs and to improve our balance.
I teach a short Yang Form which has 37 different postures combined into a slow moving meditation taking about 7 minutes to complete.  This Form takes maybe a year to learn and we become more proficient with continuing practice.

Battery Recycle Depot

Please drop off unwanted batteries for recycling to 23 Myers Drive Shoreham. There is a box under the carport for you to put them in. This does not include car batteries.
